Charles David is a prominent designer of luxury leather shoes and handbags. This is a business run by the family – design, retail, advertising, marketing, public relations, operations and distribution – are all managed in-house. And this is quite a feat when you consider the revenue that this company turns out each year!
So many designers get their start in New York City that it can be easy to forget that there’s a whole other world on the other side of the country – Hollywood. Fashion history was made with the opening of the first Charles David boutique in the most prestigious block of Hollywood.
