True Religion
True Religion – like 7 For All Mankind and Rock & Republic – was a brand created with the intention of redefining denim. And it is a brand that has become synonymous with denim jeans; when a style blog identifies each of the items a star is wearing, all it takes is the phrase “Rihanna is wearing True Religions” for a person to realize that it’s her jeans the writer is referring to.
Jeffrey Lubell founded the label in 2002 with quality, great fit and trendsetting appeal in mind. He quickly moved into t-shirts, western shirts, sweatshirts and sweatpants, each with a specific old-school feel to them. And it is this ageless bohemian feel that has skyrocketed True Religion to epic proportions.
Most recently the label has branched into new products such as footwear, handbags, swimwear, eyewear and fragrance. But they didn’t stop there. They’ve also added colored corduroy pants, skirts and blazers to the collection, in colors ranging from a vibrant green apple, to lush fuchsia, and the fresh earth tones of camel, sand and garnet. This brand recognizes the importance of custom stitching, strategically placed pockets and body-enhancing cuts that make the wearer feel like a celebrity themselves.
True Religion can be purchased from high-end department stores such as Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Macys.
