The Shops at Columbus Circle – The year 1892 marked the 400th anniversary of Columbus’ discovery of the New World and on October 12th, Italian, Spanish, and American dignitaries gathered in New York to dedicate the 77-ft high Columbus Monument at Columbus Circle. Located at the intersection of Central Park West, Broadway, Central Park South (59th St) and 8th Avenue, Columbus Circle is the official location from which distances to and from New York are measured.
The Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle celebrates the 500-plus years with a beautiful new complex featuring at six-level retail complex known as The Shops at Columbus Circle. With six upscale restaurants and 40 high-end retailers, the shops are part of the glass-walled atrium that sets the center apart, featuring the largest glass wall of its kind in the world. The Jazz at Lincoln Center offers three performance venues.
